REPAIR DEPOSITS and/or CANCELLATION POLICY

If a customer informs Sterling, that they are still having issues with the appliance, we repaired, installed, or sold. We will immediately schedule the technicians return at the earliest availability. If the original issue persists or is in line with our repair, it is covered under the warranty and the part is covered under the manufacturer or distributor warranty.



All repairs unless defined as a band-aid repair (which the customer must agree to before proceeding) come with a warranty.


90-day Warranty for labor, and 30-day warranty for labor for certain documented repairs (clients are made aware of warranty changes before repair is started). All band-aid repairs come with no warranty.

30-day up to 1 year warranty on Factory/Manufactured parts. The warranty is predicated on the part’s manufacture and/or parts distributor. 30-day warranty on used parts. Warranty on parts is voided if another part on the appliance fails and contributes to new part malfunctioning (Sterling Appliance Repair will do it’s best to assist in these very rare situations).

We require a 50% deposit on all repair(s). Deposit(s) must be made before any parts or supplies are purchased. Payment of deposit(s) is the customer’s acknowledgement they will be charged a fee for cancellation. The cancellation fee will be the diagnostic fee plus the restocking fee of the part. Restocking fee is based on the parts distributor desecration, typically ranging in price from $25 to $45


Over the Phone Estimate

Please have your brand name and model number ready when calling in for help or a quote. We can give an over-the-phone estimate to the best of our abilities however and in-person diagnostic is recommended for the best results, as well as to qualify for warranty.


If a client requests a quote for replacing a part (the client has the part, or a Sterling technician must bring the part) and they agree to the repair and the Sterling technician does not do a diagnostic before the repair the 90-day warranty is voided.
